The Senate

The Senate, led by Majority Leader Daniel Stefanko of Serenity Island and Minority Leader Titus Smith of Costa Dorada, is a legislature that functions with maximum bipartisanship and incredible efficiency. Meeting frequently and passing many bills, it has proven as a very active entity within the nation.
Departments
Department of Health and Public Safety - The Department of Health and Public Safety ensures public safety during national events or when threats are increased. Led by Secretary Gregory Bradley, the Department also enforces and carries out the provisions of the Free Healthcare for all Islanders Act, which provides free basic medical supplies to legal citizens.
Department of International Affairs - The Department of International Affairs serves as the Government's broker for international relations in the micronational community.
Department of Transit and Shipping - The Department of Transit and Shipping controls, maintains and cleans our nation's three water expressways, the Port of Hamlinia and the construction of the Port of Oasis.
Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) - The DEA helps maintain the beautiful wildlife scenery that surrounds the Oasis Islands, primarily by cleaning up pollution, preventing littering and responding to environmental disasters.
Department of Defense - The Department of Defense utilizes the Oasis Islands Army and the Naval Forces of the Oasis Islands to defend our nation from any threat, foreign and domestic. The Department of Defense also has jurisdiction over the Ronald Wilson Reagan Military Installation and Command Center, the Old Fort Hamlin Memorial and the soon to be built Loonshore Island Naval Base.

Hello and welcome to our new website! I hope you can find all the information about the Oasis Islands that you are looking for here.
Our nation is a natural playground, with beaches, beautiful arbors and of course the miles of rivers that our archipelago both sits on and is surrounded by. We are surrounded by incredible wildlife including bears, racoons, foxes, various ducks and birds, white tailed deer and small animals like squirrels and chipmunks.
But all that aside, we have a functioning nation with a superb government, filled with politicians who really care about the people we represent. From our Senate to my Vice President, we all work hard for our constituents and hope they are satisfied with our work in Hamlinia.
Our nation went through our humble beginnings in November 2012 and has grown to a leader in human rights, government accountability and economic prosperity. We have expanded our culture from nothing to an incredibly diverse cultural melting pot, taking influence from America, Italy, Germany and others.
